One week into taking the bus to work, I’m really digging it. I’m a fairly veteran bus rider, though, so the adjustment wasn’t too difficult. The trip to and from work is much less stressful, and I’m taking the time to get in a lot more reading.

A bus I was riding was rear-ended.  No one was seriously injured, though.  We were stopped at a regular stop and a Pick-up truck hauling a trailer of steel construction materials hit us.  The scariest part for me was that I realized it was going to happen a few seconds before it did.  I could hear the massive screeching of the tires as the truck ( ( Read more... )
